We will not be hosting a Spring Triathlon in 2025 due to the weather, park and date availabilities. We are working closely with our partners at Bonelli Park to finalize dates for the fall races and we hope to have these posted and updated in April. Please stand by for more information.

Welcome to the oldest, continuous running triathlon in the world.

Since 1983 triathletes have traveled to Bonelli Park, on the eastern edge of Los Angeles County, to learn the sport; to shake off the winter rust and get ready for the upcoming season; to see old friends and make new friends; and to be in the midst of a fun, high-energy, multi-sport setting. The LA Tri-Series events accomplish all of that and more! If you are new to the sport of triathlon this is the perfect setting to learn open water swimming in a safe environment, cycling around as a safe course with little traffic, and a well-supported run to one of the most beautiful finish lines you will experience. If you are an experienced triathlete who has been waiting for a warm water swim and safe bike course to start off the season – this is for you also.

World Class Events
We pride ourselves on ‘athlete first’ management with an eye towards a Best In Class experience for the athlete, whether a beginner or an experienced triathlete – you are our priority. We are honored to have many of the most recognized elite athletes in the sport call both “Bonelli” and the “LA Series” a regular stop in the annual triathlon circuit and in many cases where they got their triathlon start.
An Amazing Venue
Bonelli Park is the perfect venue for the ultimate triathlon training. The lake in the middle of LA is easily accessible, calm and well supported with lifeguards; the bike course has rolling hills and no left turns to navigate against traffic; the run is near the lake on trails and paths that are easy to navigate until you reach the finish in a beautiful picnic setting.
Fun for Everyone
Our event has a super relaxed setting were spectators can mingle with the athletes afterwards and watch the run and bike course — all from really close to the finish line. We also get some of the biggest names in the sport competing in every event. It’s the perfect mix.
